About the School

St Helen’s Catholic Infant School was built in 1960 in Queens Road, Brentwood.

During February 2009, the school relocated to Sawyers Hall Lane, Brentwood, to a brand new school building on a site situated next door to its sister Junior school. The school serves the Catholic parishes of Brentwood, Warley, Ongar and Ingatestone.

The School's aim is to give every child the opportunity to realise their full potential in all aspects of their education, and to that end it is vital that we have excellent facilities for learning across the full range of subjects. This is one of the most highly resourced schools in the district, with outstanding academic, sporting, music, art, performance, IT and recreation facilities.

We have:

  • 10 well-equipped classrooms
  • A large hall
  • Up to date IT equipment
  • Additional Learning resource areas
  • An adventure trail
  • A Large playground
  • Use of a large playing field
