We currently have the following vacancies at our school.

Vacancy: SENDCo (PT: 3 days a week)

 

St Helen’s Catholic Infant School is a vibrant, three form entry school, situated in Brentwood. The governors, staff, and parents are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well-motivated person to join us in January 2021.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be warm and welcoming
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Have excellent communication skills, use discretion and confidentiality
  • Have experience in managing SEN and supporting good SEN practice in the classroom
  • Have an up to date knowledge of the SEN Code of Practice
  • Have the national SEN qualification attained or started
  • Be first aid trained or willing to undertake this training
  • Support the school's vision, ethos and values

 

The successful candidate will join the school’s leadership team and be expected to make a major contribution to the work of that team in all aspects of its work in school.

Vacancy: Full-time HLTA (Fixed Term – 1 Year)

Pay Scale: 2020 Scale 5 (2019 Band 3)

The successful candidate will:

  • Be warm and welcoming
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Be able to demonstrate a good standard of English and Mathematical skills
  • Be able to communicate clearly and confidently with children, other staff members and parents
  • Be organised and resourceful
  • Have qualifications which include a minimum of English and Maths GCSE Grade C or above/NVQ  Level 3 or equivalent

 

The successful candidate will join the school’s support team and be expected to make a major contribution to the work of that team in all aspects of its work in school.
