During these unprecedented times, please ensure you make time to rest and reflect on your own well-being and the well-being of your child.
No matter how hard you try, you won't be able to replicate school and you shouldn't try to. The main focus at the moment is your child's happiness and well-being. However you achieve this is fine and we trust that you are doing a great job.
A little bit of home learning each day with lots of opportunities for play, rest and reassurance is more than enough. Don't get into arguments if your child does not want to do their homework. Once your child is back in the classroom, teachers will meet them where they are and move forward from there.
At the end of this, your child's mental health will be the biggest priority and how they felt during this time will stay with them forever.
If you need further advice on how to support your child's well-being at home please contact your child's teacher via the year group email address.
